TERMS & CONDITIONS
Please find below all general terms and conditions:
- On arrival, please report to reception. Try to arrive 15 minutes prior to the start time to allow for signing in and busy periods.
- Full payment to be made on arrival for the session.
Deposits are non-refundable and cannot be transferred to another date if session is cancelled. For large bookings (30+ participants) customer will be liable for 50% of total if cancelled within 7 days and 100% of total if cancelled within 48 hours of the booking. - Activities/lessons will go ahead regardless of weather.
- No refund will be issued in the event of mechanical failure.
- Each participant will be required to read and sign a declaration form on arrival, before the start of the session, with a counter signature of a parent or guardian for under 16’s. This is a requirement of the insurance company to follow health and safety regulations.
- All participants must follow all instructions given by staff at all times.
- Any decision by the Suffolk Ski Centre is final.
- All participants must behave in a controlled and safe manner. Anybody not doing so will be removed from the slope or site with no refund.
- Teachers/organizers are responsible for the behaviour of their group.
- The centre accepts no responsibility for personal injury or loss or damage to personal property whilst on the centre premises.
TOBOGGANING
- You will need to be wearing long sleeves, gloves, and long trousers with trainers for footwear.
- Bring a change of clothes as you will get wet.
- The toboggans may swerve and turn during descent. You may also roll off – if you are not comfortable with this, we advise you do not participate.
- Sole use of the toboggan slope cannot be guaranteed.
- We have a minimum age of 4 years old for tobogganing with a maximum of 1 person per toboggan; children cannot sit on laps.
- Brief safety instructions will need to be given before going to the slope.
RINGOS
- You will need to be wearing long sleeves, gloves and long trousers with trainers for footwear.
- The ringos will swerve and turn during descent and you may go backwards. If you are not comfortable with this, we advise you do not participate.
- Sole use of the ringo run cannot be guaranteed.
- We have a minimum age of 8 years old for ringos.
A brief set instruction will be given at the start of the session by the instructor. This will be part of your hour on the slope.
HIGH ROPES & CLIMBING WALL
- We recommend that all jewellery is removed before the session commences due to the risk of harming yourself whilst taking part.
- Try to wear sensible shoes i.e. trainers or footwear that will tie up and allow you to grip to the climbing wall and the high ropes course.
- We would like to remind you that we do have a height restriction for the high ropes course which is 1.1metres tall or over.
- The whole course is controlled by instructors; we ask that spectators do not enter the high ropes area.
- We ask that you advise us of any medical history that would cause discomfort (back or heart conditions or are pregnant).
FOOD PARTIES PROCEDURE
- The children’s food order must be made before you start your activity.
- Food will be served immediately after you have had your one hour of the activity.
- Food cannot be delayed for late arrivals.
- You can use the party room for up to 45 minutes. It will be appreciated that you leave swiftly as we will need to clean and set up for the next party.
- You do not get additional time on the activity after you have eaten.
- We cannot guarantee access to the party room while your activity is taking place as there may be another party eating.
- You need a minimum of 10 and maximum of 18 children for a party. If your numbers, go below 10 you will still need to pay for 10 participants.
